What to Bring to Events and Practices?

Curious as to what to bring? Below is a list of items and necessities that you should bring to DockDogs events and practices.

  • 4 Foot Leash (required length for DockDogs events)
  • Flat Collar (no pinch, prong, or e-collars allowed on the dock)
  • Water dish & water for your dog
  • Floating, non-food toy to be thrown from dock (this object cannot be live nor have been alive)
  • Dog’s shot records
  • Poop Bags

Suggested Items

  • Crate
  • Dog treats
  • Water/Drinks for you
  • Towels/Chamois
  • Chairs (Fold Up)
  • Change of clothes (& shoes)
  • Tent for outdoor events

If you do not have a tent, bring something to cover your dog’s crate from the elements.

  • Sunscreen/Bug Spray
  • Rain gear
  • Cooler with food for you if it’s an all day event
  • First Aid Kit
  • Camera
